Why am I making a payment?
Gallina and Sons is proud and honored to assist the communities we insure in anyway we can. Unfortunately, federal banking guidelines have put a great deal of stress on both the banks and the documentation they must collect to help you qualify for your loan. As a result Gallina and Sons must now keep records of all documentation we release on behalf of you and your community and be prepared to service, or defend those forms released. The $20 fee goes toward the infrastructure and systems needed to provide the quick and accurate responses the banks demand.
I already bought a document package, why do I have to pay again?
Most sales packets include a copy of a generic certificate providing evidence of the polices and coverages that are in place at any one time. By requesting to be added as a certificate holder you are asking an insurance professional to create a series of documents that detail their new obligation and future service to the holder of said certificate. It is this endorsement and documentation thereof that merits the fee. Out of a commitment to the communities we represent we have restricted this fee to $20.
Gallina and sons has no business dealings with real estate packet services.
Will I be charged if I need to correct an error?
No. The spirit of the payment is to assist Gallina and Sons with the legal, and physical demands of creating the file, and method by which we track and defend the forms released by our office. Amendments to, or updating accounts that already exist will be completed free of charge.
Will I be charged every year?
No. Each year Gallina and Sons produces digital copies of every certificate and makes them available to all unit owners and certificate holders free of charge. These are available upon requested, and will represent the information on file at the time of the policy’s renewal.
Can I mail a Payment?
Yes. We recognize that not all banks have access to a corporate card or for security reasons may refuse to perform an online transaction.
